So my cravings have taken me from one end of the food spectrum to another.  I have been eating a lot of vegetarian meals, because in reality it’s pretty easy (with the exception of seafood.) Then one day it hit me: I want steak.  So to make it a little more interesting, I added veggies and carbs and made it a not-so-balanced meal! Philly Cheese Steak!

5 ounces of steak (The cut doesn’t matter too much, because you will be slicing it super thin!)
1/2 onion
5 large mushrooms
1/2 bell pepper
Worcestershire sauce (a splash here and there)
Cheese Wiz (or provolone)

Cut the onions/mushrooms/peppers into thin slices.  My mom is vegetarian, so I cooked the vegetables up first, sautéing them in a little oil and adding salt, pepper and the WS to it.  At the very end I added 2 Tbsp of Cheese Wiz and let it melt over everything.

For the steak, keep it frozen and then when you’re ready to use slice it thinly into paper thin slices.  Toss it into the frying pan and add the same spices, it will not take more than 3-4 minutes to cook.

Cut the size of the baguette that you want, add mayo, lettuce and tomato, (jalepeño peppers if you want as well) and then the meat and the veggies.  This is a super quick and easy meal and it’s very tasty! I had leftovers as well!
